Guardian Vision Privacy Policy

Effective September 5, 2026

This policy explains how Guardian Vision handles information when you use the Android application and its companion Windows application.

1. Who we are

Guardian Vision is provided by Vigilant Pixel Labs. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to guardianvision.support@gmail.com.

2. Information we handle

3. How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, operate phone-to-PC monitoring and audio features, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve Guardian Vision.

4. Camera, audio, and detection processing

Guardian Vision is designed to send live camera and audio data between your phone and your paired PC over the local network. Face and movement detection support monitoring features. Guardian Vision does not use face detection to determine a person's legal identity. The current beta is not designed to upload or store live camera video or audio on Vigilant Pixel Labs servers.

5. Service providers

Guardian Vision uses Supabase for account authentication and related backend services. Supabase may process account information on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms. Google Play also processes information related to downloading, installing, updating, and testing the Android app.

6. Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, when you direct us to do so, or when required by law.

7. Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account is active or as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. To request deletion of your Guardian Vision account and associated account data, email guardianvision.support@gmail.com from the address connected to the account.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should protect their account credentials, use trusted private networks, and keep their devices updated.

9. Children's privacy

Guardian Vision is intended for adults, parents, and caregivers and is not directed to children. A child should not create or operate an account. Adults are responsible for obtaining any permission required before monitoring another person and for using the app in compliance with applicable law.

10. Permissions and choices

You can deny or revoke camera and microphone permissions through Android settings, but related features will stop working. You may stop local transmission by disconnecting the phone, closing either application, or leaving the local network.

11. International use

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy protections may differ by location.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Guardian Vision changes. The effective date at the top will be updated when revisions are published.

13. Contact

For privacy questions, access requests, corrections, or deletion requests, contact guardianvision.support@gmail.com.
